Need to add serious ballast to your baseplate without the risks of loose sandbags? This bolt-on 115 lb weight is engineered to increase the stability of our 32" Ultimate Theater Baseplate in a consistent, reliable way — no shifting loads, no forgotten bags, no guesswork.
It secures underneath using 1/2" flat head screws . While in place this still allows you to use both pipe holes, as well as all sizes of center mounted truss and offset or bridged 12" truss. Both the threaded 5/8" feet AND the larger 1.5" holes remain clear for leveling. This part does not affect the base's overall dimensions, so the 32" cart and related accessories can still be used.
Due to how unexpectedly heavy this makes baseplates. We powder coat them red so that there is a bit of warning to any crew before they throw out their back.
