This is a light duty version of our our 20" Ultimate Theater Base Plate, formed from 1/4" plate but still has all the features of our flagship base at only 35#. As a lighting boom base, it offers 2 threaded holes for 1.5" pipe, one in the center, and one on the edge. This allows you to center the mass of your fixtures better above the footprint of the base, requiring less ballast. It also has our truss pattern that accepts square and triangle truss from 12" to 20.5" and edge mounted 12". We have threaded all 4 corners 5/8" x 11 for leveling on uneven surfaces. installing casters, or bolting to footings. If you're in a pinch, It's vast array of mounting options make it a great base for pipe and drapery, TV's, or speakers.
When paired with our baseplate cart, these consolidate into one of the most versatile, truck-friendly base systems your crew has ever worked with. You'll streamline load-ins, keep things organized, and (let’s be honest) make the other crews jealous.
