This product is designed to create a lighting boom using threaded or non-threaded pipe and a truss base plate (or screwing to the stage). This product is designed for 1.5" pipe, but will hold up to 2" OD round tube, this offers the flexibility to use many different diameters of pipe, square and round tube, strut channel, pvc, or whatever your application requires. Tubing is held into adapter with dual 1/2" bolts for a very secure connection, and an additional 1/2" through hole allows a pin or bolt to be put all the way through adapter to lock a piece of pipe in place. All steel construction with heavy duty gussets ensure a rock solid load no matter what the orientation of device or direction of load. The main plate has several various hole patterns for different applications, 3/4" holes match to that of standard plated 12" truss, 3/8" holes at 4.25" and 200mm centers allow interfacing to many common TV mounts and accessories. The center of the adapter is open which allows tubing to easily slide in and out for fine tuning length of pipe sticking out. This product can be used in any orientation, and when inverted can easily bolt to strut channel for a secure way to mount pipe for projectors.
